Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 in Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter and only one of Richard McCormick. Her mother was at home and also mother to her children. Michael Dennis Kevin, her two brothers older. Beginning at a very early age, McCormick enjoyed singing as well as dance. She would also put on puppet shows for youngsters in the area. McCormick won her first contest, the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley Contest at age 6 and was then contacted via Pat Domigan, a talent agent with the Jack Wormser Agency. He requested that she be interested to work in the business of show production. McCormick got her first job as a major actress in the year 1964. McCormick was in a commercial for Mattels the newest doll baby Pattaburp. The same year, she starred in another commercial that aired on TV for the doll Chatty Cathy. Soon afterward, McCormick was cast at La Jolla Playhouse to play the part of Wind It up and It breaks. The Brady Bunch McCormick auditioned for the part of the eldest daughter of the trio of towheaded girls on The Brady Bunch. The show featured Florence Henderson, Robert Reed and a blended family. The show ran for five seasons. McCormick's memoir Heres the Story, Surviving Marcia Brady: Finding My True Voice was released in 2008. In it she revealed the fact that McCormick nearly lost her virginity on sets of the show in the fifth season, when she was a victim to Barry Williams. At the time, she was 16, and he was 19. This would have occurred as she describes. The timing for our marriage wasn't right.
